sorry, it's been a few days since i've posted. here's the details:
this week has been kind of tough on joaquin. a few short seizures every morning, except today. he's lots better than he has been. however, since we've been changing his meds this week, his little body is still getting used to the changes.
when he's having a 'good' day, he's almost back to the little guy i haven't seen in a while. he's trying so hard... on 'not so good' days, he's really pulled-back, and just wants to watch cartoons. he tries so hard to not be 'woozy' by running around the store, and being the typical 3 yr old. then a little episode catches up to him, and he finds himself back on the couch.
we'll be fine though. bec's hard at word updating his website, maceo has learned when it's cool (and not cool) to mess with joaquin, and daddy is learning to control himself. all in all, not so bad..

Ghery- Hey man I'm Josh Hernandez, I was one of your students at CRAS in 03', don't know if you remember me but anyways. I came upon this site because I have seizures too. Just googled it and there it was. I've been getting them for 3 years now so I know what your son is going through and what you went through. Its tough because you don't know when its going to hit, at school or when your driving but I commend you for all you're doing. Your son is a very strong person. Its true people really don't know how many people have it. I will be donating because we definitely need more awareness. Kudos Brother! Oh and you know he's gonna get through this because he's Mexican!!
